Health is your wealth, right? Here are a few wellness tips to keep you going everyday!

  • Hydration is key! The amount of water in our bodies ranges from 50%- 75% depending on the person, so staying hydrated properly ensures body functions can operate at their best. Add fruits and herbs to water if you need help getting down your daily supply. Use a water bottle with measurements and/or positive affirmations on them to stay on track and keep you motivated.
  • Cardio and weight bearing exercises are important to release those great endorphins and keep your body functioning at its most optimal. Try to get a least 30 minutes in a day to keep your mood up. Be sure to stretch before and after. Consult your physician if needed, try exercises that you can manage and make sure to use proper form in order to avoid injury.
  • Adequate sleep is important for cell repair and renewal. Everyone’s requirement is different from the next person but it is important to get the right amount for you.
  • Sticking to a diet that is right for your body type is key. Consult a physician or nutritionist if you have questions about making sure you are getting all of the nutrients and minerals that you need. Make your habits a lifestyle and not think of it as a “diet” and you will be more consistent with your regimen.
  • Get outside! The sunshine helps to activate your body’s Vitamin D which supports immune health, muscle function and full body wellness.
  • Adopt a pet! Having a little companion around helps to lower blood pressure and increase a positive mood.
  • Use meditation apps such as Calm and Headspace to help keep you grounded.
  • Enjoy any self-care activity that keeps you going!
